The homeowners had a water issue in their basement. Most of the water was coming from their exterior entryway which had a sloped entrance to double doors. The basement was frequently used so they wanted to make sure it was waterproofed. We did a full drainage system inside and also added in a TrenchDrain to the entryway to ensure the main water issue would be diverted before it got inside the home.
We are experts in all things basement and crawlspace. Given this fact, we are not always completing standard waterproofing. Sometimes it is details such as this ThermalDry flooring that make the space more beautiful while providing necessary function. This flooring is raised from the concrete providing a 1-inch thermal barrier that will keep the basement warmer and prevent ground moisture from reaching your space.
In this crawl space in Sherwood, Oregon had falling insulation and was mess overall. Our company, John's Waterproofing was happy to go out and encapsulate the area, providing a dry clean environment for the homeowner.
This customer of John's Waterproofing had a very dirty crawl space that had become overrun with moisture damage. Here are a couple of pictures that show what a difference that a crawl space encapsulation can do. Establishing a clean, dry, mold-free environment for many years.
This crawl space was just dirt, so there was nothing protecting the structure from water and mold. The CleanSpace vapor barrier is 20 ml thick and is an antimicrobial woven fiber. Guaranteed to keep the crawl space clean and dry for a very long time.
