This customer tried to fix their crawlspace on their own with a sump pump in a five-gallon bucket. But, water was still collecting in multiple areas of the crawlspace and further causing more moisture. So they gave us a call to install a new drainage system to properly drain the water out of the crawlspace and to add in a vapor barrier. 

This wet crawlspace had drooping old fiberglass insulation, and puddles of mud throughout. To transform this space into a dry and healthy space we installed an encapsulation system.

We dig a 22 in. hole in the lowest point of the crawl space for the sump pump to be installed in. It has a sump liner with holes to allow water from the ground to enter and be pumped out. We seal it with a air tight lid so no water can be evaporated back into the crawl space, helping to control humidity. This helps to control the environment and prevent standing water in the crawl space. We have our service technicians provide annual service to these sump pumps and ensure everything is running smoothly and still safely pumping water out.
