This home had an older sump pump in the basement. For the most part it would keep water from pooling on the floor. However when heavy rains hit, the system just couldn't keep up. When that happened the homeowners would clear the spots in the basement that would hold water and they would squeegee the floor and turn on a few fans. After dealing with this issue for a few years they wanted to look into some other options. After a full inspection, we suggested a TripleSafe sump pump with a WaterGuard drainage system and SaniDry Dehumidifier. Now the space stays dry and healthy no matter what the rainfall looks like.
Homeowner was looking their crawl space to be waterproofed. They had fiberglass insulation falling from the sub-floor, and this was caused by moisture absorbing into the insulation, causing it to droop and begin to fall down in places. To waterproof the space properly and protect it against moisture issues we did a full encapsulation. This system provides lasting insulation that is made for the crawl space with our TerraBlock insulation along the ground and spray foam insulation along the foundation walls.
John's Waterproofing Company also deals with a lot of mushy, wet, flooded yards. This homeowner called us out to help take care of the water in her yard, this water was flowing in and building up under her deck causing it to also drain into her crawlspace! Our team came out and dug a trench drain around the home. We then put piping and rocks in the trench and use gravity to direct the water out of the yard, effectivly preventing this home from being a lakefront property.
This customer called because he was experiencing flooding in his basement during a remold. We installed our patented Waterguard system and smart pump. We then installed ThermalDry carpet and for a nice finished look.
This daylight basement was always leaking water, especially at the door due to no drainage. Our crew installed a TrenchDrain in front of the basement door so that the water can never reach inside the basement. It is made of reinforced plastic so that it will never crack or dent. The trench drain is easy to clean out so that you don't have to worry about clogged drains. The homeowner likes how clean it looked and flush with the pavement and can keep up with the amount of rain that is present!
