With water coming in through the walls of this finished basement, the homeowners knew they needed to waterproof. The walls had squishy spots from water damage and the old carpet was damp along the edges. To address this we installed a full WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe sump pump, and ThermalDry wall insulation to keep the space dry and healthy for the occupants. Once we had the space fully waterproofed, they called up a contractor that they wanted to have refinish the area.
This homeowner had fashioned a sump pump for their crawlspace from some online tutorials, however, it could not compete with the groundwater and clogged up, creating a muddy mess. To get them waterproofed we did a new SmartSump pump, burred perforated pipes to direct the water, a vapor barrier, three SmartJacks to support the home as needed, and some seismic retrofitting to add stability to the home.
This homeowner called us up wanting to hear about the options to seal up their crawlspace. We scheduled their free inspection and the design specialist did a thorough walk-through and sat down to talk about the benefits of encapsulation. They were excited for the aspects that are used for this and how science backs up how it works, and they moved forward to have a dry and healthy crawlspace.
This homes crawlspace had a lot of water. The homeowner knew they needed to have something done about their crawlspace because the water would cause issues. They had old fiberglass present, a simple 6 Mil vapor barrier, and vapor barriers over the foundation walls. But none of this stopped the water from flooding this area. To address it they had us do a full dry-out and encapsulation. Now the space can be dry and healthy.
When the power goes out, it is nice to be able to rely on having a generator. While this owner had been totting out a portable generator, they were ready for an upgrade. So they called up John's Waterproofing to learn about our Cummins whole home generators with the automatic transfer switch. Being able to enjoy the peace of mind that the system will turn on by itself if the power goes out was a big plus for them. So we scheduled their install and used our electrical and plumbing department to get the system up and running!
