This homes old vapor barrier had standing water on top of it, which lead to caked on mud. This water moisture had penetrated the old fiberglass insulation, causing it to get heavy with water weight. To solve this water issue, we installed a full crawlspace encapsulation.
This homes crawlspace was a mess, and after learning that over fifty percent of the air in the home comes from this space, the homeowners were grossed out. They contacted us for a free inspection and opted to have a crawlspace encapsulation, providing them with a dry and healthy home that will last.
This homes old 6 mil vapor barrier was ripped and covered in thick layers of mineral deposits. Without realizing how long it had passed since they had last checked their crawl space, they were wanting a long term solution with an encapsulation. For this they called up John's Waterproofing. After learning about the products we use and the fifty years of experience we have, they were ready to get their project rolling!
This crawlspace had mud caked throughout, to control the water issues present we did a crawlspace encapsulation.
This before and after is of a Super Sump installation. The Super Sump pump removes up to 2,650 gallons of water per hour smoothly and quietly. It comes with a built-in alarm system that will alert when water levels rise too high.
