With long time water issues, this home had mildew growing on the old 6 Mil vapor barrier. After dealing with this for years, the homeowners wanted a solution and called up John's Waterproofing to have a crawlspace encapsulation.
This homeowner discovered that their crawl space had falling fiberglass insulation and a destroyed vapor barrier. The reached out to John's Waterproofing about how they could fix their crawl space and have it actually benefit their home. They agreed that a full encapsulation would offer them the best solution. We were able to clean and properly insulate the crawl space ensuring clean air could be spread throughout the home.
The homeowners heating and cooling bills were steadily rising, they soon found out that this was in large, due to their crawlspace being uninsulated, and open to the elements. After a full crawlspace encapsulation, they could feel the difference it made!
We replaced this old sump pump that was not working properly with our Supersump Sump pump. with this top of the line sumppump working properly, along with The Cleanspace Encapsulation and the Sanidry Dehumidifier, this crawlspace/basement combination will now stay dry.
In this wet basement we installed our Waterguard system, which collects any water coming in and channels it to the sump pump. We also installed the Supersump sump pump that the water is channeled to, this will take the water out of the basement and discharge it in a location away from the home. Lastly, we installed a Cleanspace Basement Wall system. This will be a vapor barrier, controlling any moisture while channeling any higher up leaks into the Waterguard system. The Cleanspace Wall System also leaves the basement looking clean and bright. Making it a space you won’t dread going into!
