This home suffered with pooling water. They had shelving installed in the basement to keep items up off the ground, but the moisture content was still allowing mold to grow and the shelving's legs were absorbing the water. To protect their home and items, the homeowners moved forward with a basement waterproofing job with a full interior perimeter drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump with a SaniDry dehumidifier.
This wall had a large horizontal crack that had begun expanding. The homeowner was right to be concerned and our team set to work reinforcing the wall to make sure the wall would not crumble. The team planted power braces deep into the concrete floor and snug against the wall.
Here is a wet, soggy crawl space. You can tell by the insulation sagging with moisture and see the evidence of standing water. We went in and cleaned up the space and did a full encapsulation using CleanSpace for the vapor barrier and using Smart Jacks for post stability. Our customer no longer has to worry about moisture or damage being caused in his crawl space.
This homeowner had dealt with water coming through the basement walls for years, and had been applying a waterproof paint every few years. The paint isn't a long-term solution and does crack and come off as water pushes up against it. The homeowner was ready for a solution that looked nice and could stand the test of time. This is how they came to find John's Waterproofing online. They gave us a call, and after their inspection, were ready to have their basement waterproofed the right way!
This basement had a pretty serious water leak so the owner called us out to install out WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is an interior drain system that we put in the basement to catch any water that come in, making sure that the water doesn’t touch your basement floors ever again.
