This homeowner had noticed a rushing water noise under their home, upon inspection they discovered a small stream of water had forged a path. There was mold growing on the wooden posts and beams. They called up John's Waterproofing for a solution to their problem. We cleaned out the crawlspace, applied MoldX as needed, and installed a full Crawlspace Encapsulation to keep this home dry and healthy from here on out.
High energy bills with a cold to touch the floor. This is a good sign that your crawlspace or basement is either not insulated, or the insulation is failing. The crawlspace of This home had gotten so wet that their insulation was falling apart and they had a muddy mess. To solve their waterproofing issue we did a full crawlspace encapsulation, complete with; SmartSump, UltraSump, TerraBlock Crawlspace Insulation, Spray Foam, CleanSpace, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.
This homes crawl space had fiberglass falling from the sub-floor. The owners of the home were concerned about how this could lead to their homes heating and cooling costs going up, and were concerned that it could damage the sub-floor. To address the space fully they wanted to encapsulate. This would include insulation made to last within the crawl space. We would install TerraBlock along the dirt floor. This pairs with the spray foam insulation applied along the foundation walls. By insulating along the floor and walls we bring the entire crawl space into the homes envelope, keeping the heating and cooling costs down year after year.
This homeowner had purchased the house only a year ago, and rats became occupants of their crawlspace. They had a pest company help them get rid of the issue, but now they needed a solution to keep them away. They contacted John's Waterproofing for a long-term solution and were ready to move forward with a full encapsulation.
This dusty crawlspace was pulling up odd odors into the home. A few occupants suffered from mold allergies and found that an unclean crawlspace could worsen this allergy. We did a full encapsulation, and this image shows the crawlspace with TerraBlock, right before we laid down the CleanSpace.
