Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This dusty crawlspace was pulling up odd odors into the home. A few occupants suffered from mold allergies and found that an unclean crawlspace could worsen this allergy. We did a full encapsulation, and this image shows the crawlspace with TerraBlock, right before we laid down the CleanSpace. 

This Crawlspace had mud caked over the old Vapor Barrier. The fiberglass insulation had been in such a bad case, we had to remove it to fully examine the space. To waterproof properly, did a full crawlspace encapsulation. 

These homeowners found water in their crawlspace. It was easy to see that this could lead to an issue, so they called up John's Waterproofing. We performed a thorough inspection, and luckily no major damage had occurred. We cleared the space, did a full dry-out and encapsulated the area with a full drainage system, sump pump, TerraBlock insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier, Spray Foam, and a SaniDry dehumidifier. 

This homeowner knew their vapor barrier was getting pushed around by water. They tried to stop this by placing rocks over the vapor barrier, thinking the vapor barrier would stop falling out of place. However this just allowed the water to more easily pool on-top of the barrier. To find a solution to the crawlspace issues, they chose to have John's do a full encapsulation.
