Oftentimes crawlspaces are insulated with fiberglass, which is problematic. Fiberglass is made to be enclosed on all six sides, for when it isn't, it absorbs moisture and holds it up against the wooden foundation, causing mold and rot. This home had this problem and mold spores were along the homes beams and posts, and the fiberglass was falling from water weight. To address this is provide long term insulation and water protection, we installed a full crawlspace encapsulation. 

Water intrusion in the crawlspace leads to many issues for the home and family. This home's crawlspace had water-heavy insulation that was falling to pieces, and mud was caked on the old vapor barrier. To solve this issue we removed the old debris and then installed a full crawlspace encapsulation to add a long-term solution for this home. 

This homes crawlspace was suffering with condensation issues. The water would absorb into the fiberglass insulation and droop from water weight. When it fell away from the home the energy costs would go up, and someone would have to go under the home to fix it. Looking for a solution, they read about encapsulation online and scheduled their inspection. They are so pleased with the energy savings, and it is so much cleaner in the crawlspace now!
